Rob Langford
Rob is a native of North Florida and lives in Tallahassee, Florida. He is married and has 3 children that all love the outdoors. He is very involved in community and statewide activities through Tall Timbers Research Station, United Way of the Big Bend, Exchange Club, Colonel's Club, Florida Farm Bureau, Florida Nursery Growers Association, the Southwest Georgia Board of Realtors, St Peter's Anglican Church and with his children.
Rob specializes in assisting buyers and sellers in analyzing, valuing, and negotiating the sale or purchase of large acreage tracts in North Florida, South Georgia and South Alabama.
Rob has been a licensed real estate agent since 1988. He is licensed as a broker in Florida, Georgia and Alabama and presently serves as the Broker for Southern Forestry Realty, Inc. in Florida and Georgia.
Bud Holleman
Bud is a native of south Georgia and lives in Bainbridge, Georgia. He grew up in Bulloch County Georgia in a family that embraced the love of the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Today, Bud is very involved in his community, serving as an elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Bainbridge, co-chair of its Mission and Outreach Ministry; member of the Membership Committee of the Chamber of Commerce; and Chairman of the Legislative Committee of the Southwest Georgia Board of Realtors. Bud is also on the Board of Directors of Bainbridge - Decatur County United Way. In addition to his commitment to the community and real estate activities, he is also the Business Manager of Southern Forestry Consultants, Inc., where he is afforded the opportunity to work closely with foresters and biologists. Bud is married and has one daughter.
Bud's main focus in real estate is on rural acreage with an emphasis on recreational tracts and timber tract investments.
Wheat Kirbo
Wheat received a B.B.A. in marketing as a 2006 graduate of Valdosta State University. Soon after graduation, he joined Southern Forestry Realty as a licensed Georgia Realtor. When not matching buyers and sellers all over South Georgia, Wheat enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, and tennis. Wheat is also interested in spending time with his family, friends, and creating opportunities to help other people. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bainbridge, GA, and an active member of the Decatur County Young Farmers Association.
Wheat specializes in the sale of farm and timber land in the South Georgia region, but he can also help you find recreational and investment opportunities anywhere in our coverage area. He is very knowledgeable about the market for rural development tracts in South Georgia and North Florida. Dave Lewis
Born in Anchorage, Alaska in 1956, Dave’s family moved from Virginia to a farm near Monticello, Florida when he was 8 years old. There he developed a love of the outdoors and a farmer’s work ethic. He went on to graduate from Jefferson County High School in 1974 as Saludatorian and then from the University of Florida’s School of Forest Resources and Conservation in 1979 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree.
Dave worked in pole procurement for four years with Southern Wood Piedmont Company in Lake City, Florida and then in timber procurement for over six years with Balfour Pulpwood Company in Thomasville, Georgia. In 1989, he went to work with Southern Forestry Consultants, Inc. and two years later became a partner in that firm. Dave subsequently became Vice President of SFC and manager of their Monticello, Florida office, where he is still located.
Dave is a Registered Forester in Georgia, a Certified Forester, a licensed real estate salesperson in Florida, and a licensed commercial pesticide applicator in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. Dave has held many offices within the Society of American Foresters, including Chapter Chair, Florida State Chair, and SESAF Chair. He has also been active with the Florida Forestry Association, the Association of Consulting Foresters, and the Florida Farm Bureau, along with other organizations.
Dave has been married to his wife Mona since 1987 and has a son, Jacob, and a daughter, Abby. He is active in his church, Element 3, in Tallahassee, and the non-profit organization Builders Care. In his “spare” time, Dave manages his family’s cattle/timber farm and enjoys hunting, fishing, and sports of all kinds.
John Taylor
John specializes in rural properties for recreation, farming, and timber production throughout Southeast Alabama and Southwest Georgia. John also brokers commercial real estate in the Dothan, Alabama area. He is a member of the Dothan Board of Realtors and the Southwest Georgia Board of Realtors. Throughout John’s career, he has been active in the forest products industry, and worked for one of the industry’s leading companies for 30 years. His formal education has ranged from an undergraduate degree in forestry to a Master’s degree in business administration. John maintains his status as a Registered Forester in Georgia, keeping himself current in the timber market and its impact on rural real estate.
John lives in Dothan, AL, where he resides with his wife of 41 years. They have two children and five grandchildren.
